Producing Quality Petroleum Products

Who We Are

OMSA PILLAR ASTEX COMPANY Limited (OPAC Refineries) is a wholly privately owned indigenous company duly incorporated in Nigeria to refine crude oil and supply clean fuels in Nigeria and Sub-Saharan Africa.

We are the owner and operator of the 10,000 barrels per day modular refinery located at Umuseti, Kwale in Delta State, Nigeria. Our expansion plan will see our plant’s capacity increased to 60,000 barrels per day and will also locate modular refineries close to onshore marginal fields across Nigeria

What We Do

We refine crude oil into high-quality petroleum products, delivering reliable fuels that power industries, communities, and national development. Our operations span the full value chain from processing raw crude into valuable end products to supporting energy security, creating jobs, and driving technological advancement.

Automotive Gas Oil

AGO, also known as diesel, is a by-product of crude oil obtained during the mid-boiling stage of refining. It is less flammable than products like premium motor spirit and is reliable and efficient for powering heavy-duty equipment.

Low Pour Fuel Oil

LPFO or LSFO are products obtained through fractional distillation of crude oil. They are commonly used as bunker fuel or for running boilers and furnaces in various industries, including textile and cement manufacturing.

Dual Purpose Kerosene

DPK is a grade of kerosene used for both lighting and heating. It provides an important energy source in areas without reliable electricity, supporting basic needs such as lighting, cooking, and heating.

Naphtha

Naphtha is a product obtained from the distillation of crude oil and is mainly used in the production of gasoline (petrol). It also serves as a raw material for various chemical and petrochemical products.
